What to Expect at the Tina Turner Musical


The Queen of Rock n’ Roll has her own biographical stage musical that reveals 
her rise as one of the world's best-performing artists of all time. The Tina Turner 
Musical reveals how the rockstar rose to fame in a period where gender, race, 
and age put a test to aspiring stars.


About the production


The Tina Turner Musical will be directed by Phyllida Lloyd who is known for her 
Shakespeare works and the worldwide hit musical, ‘Mamma Mia!’ and ‘The Iron 
Lady.’

Meanwhile, Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall of ‘Mountain Top’ will 
lead the stage writing for the musical. She is joined by Kees Prins and Frank 
Ketelaar, together with the music ensemble and choreography of Anthony van 
Laast, and costume and set design Mark Thompson. Book your stay at

Also, the production team is completed with the musical supervision of Nicholas

Holdbrook-Smith as blues-rock musician and the former’s husband, Ike Turner.


Details about the show and tickets


The musical will be shown at Aldwych Theatre with a debut on April 17, 2018. 
Ticketing differs at various times; however, it starts from £42 to £71.40 due to 
limited availability.

Booking period for the show starts on March 21 and will tentatively end on 
October 20, 2018. A running time of two hours and 45 minutes of the show will 
begin to the public at 7.30 PM on April 18.
